Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

  • Ensure surfaces are structurally sound and free from contaminants such as dirt, oil, and grease.
  • Treat cracks and holes with Hulk Mastic® before application.

Mixing and Application

  • Stir product thoroughly to achieve uniform consistency.
  • Apply generously using airless spray, power roll, or conventional roll.
  • Monitor thickness with a film gauge to ensure proper wet film thickness.
  • For waterproofing concrete, ensure a minimum thickness of 70 mils WFT (40 DFT) is applied.
  • For damp-proofing concrete, ensure a minimum thickness of 35 mils WFT (20 DFT) is applied.

Textile Reinforcement

  • For below-grade applications on ICF, it’s recommended to incorporate Hulk SRT® textile.
  • Apply a 35-mil wet coat, embed textile, and cover with an additional 35-mil wet coat.

Clean Up

  • Wash tools with warm water immediately after use.
  • Use mineral spirits to clean spray equipment lines and prevent rust.

Limitations

  • Do not apply in damp or rainy conditions.
  • Avoid thinning the product, as it may compromise performance.
  • Ensure storage above freezing temperatures to maintain product integrity.
